Property around here varies enormously. The Victorian and Edwardian terraces in Springbourne and Boscombe are largely lath and plaster, often with textured ceilings added in the seventies. The thirties semis in Winton, Kinson and Moordown tend to need cracked ceilings and blown walls cutting out before anything is skimmed.
Closer to the coast, salt air and driving rain take their toll on render, so Southbourne, Sandbanks and Mudeford see far more exterior work. Newer estates around Ferndown, Verwood and West Parley are mostly plasterboard, where taping, dry lining and full new build skims are the usual jobs.

Bournemouth and all its districts, Poole, Christchurch, Ferndown, Wimborne, Ringwood, Verwood, New Milton, Wareham, Swanage and the villages between them. Roughly a 20 mile radius of the town centre.
Do you charge extra for travel?
No. There is no travel charge anywhere inside the area shown on the map. For jobs further out we will tell you up front whether travel affects the price.
My village is not on your list — can you still help?
Probably. The list covers the places we work most, not a hard boundary. Give us a call with your postcode and we will tell you straight away.
How quickly can you come out to quote?
Usually within two to four days across most of the area, with the written price back within 48 hours of the visit. Water damage and urgent repairs get priority.
Do you work outside Dorset?
We take on larger projects in west Hampshire — Lymington, Brockenhurst and the New Forest villages. Single small jobs that far out are rarely worth the travel time for either of us.
Do you cover commercial and rental property?
Yes. We work for landlords, letting agents, developers and local businesses throughout the area, including tenancy turnarounds and shop or office refits.
Can you work around a tight completion date?
Often, yes. Tell us the date when you enquire. On new builds and extensions we work alongside your builder so the plastering fits the programme.
Do you need parking arranged?
Somewhere to unload materials near the property helps, particularly in the terraced streets around Boscombe and Springbourne. Let us know if a permit is needed.
