Our Story

Fifteen years of plastering in Dorset

We started out doing single ceilings and patch repairs for neighbours in Winton. Most of our work still arrives the same way — someone has seen a finished room and asked who did it.

Since then we have skimmed whole houses in Poole, re-rendered coastal properties in Sandbourne and worked alongside builders on new builds in Ferndown. The jobs got bigger, but the way we work has not changed: we quote what the job actually needs, turn up when we say, and leave the place clean.

There is no call centre and no sales team. When you ring, you speak to the plasterer who will be on the tools in your house.

How long have you been plastering?

Around fifteen years, all of it in and around Bournemouth. Most of our work still comes from referrals and repeat customers rather than advertising.

Are you insured?

Yes. We carry public liability insurance and can send the certificate over with your quote if you or your builder need it on file.

What does the workmanship guarantee cover?

Ten years on the plastering itself. If cracking or a defect comes back to how we applied or prepared the surface, we return and put it right at no cost.

Will the same plasterers be on my job?

Yes. We do not subcontract. The person who quotes your job is on site doing the work, which is why our diary is booked a few weeks ahead at busy times.

Do you charge for quotes?

No. Quotes are free and written, with no obligation. Clear photos are often enough for straightforward rooms, otherwise we come out and measure up.

Do you take on small jobs?

Yes — single ceilings, patch repairs, socket chases and doorway infills. There is a minimum half-day charge, so small jobs are often best grouped together.

Do you work with builders and developers?

Regularly. We work to a builder’s programme on extensions, conversions and new builds, and can price a full plastering package for a site.

How do you handle mess and access?

Floors and any remaining furniture are sheeted before we mix, edges are masked, and all waste and sheeting leaves with us at the end of the job.
